    Hi Eddy,

Thats not a problem, I will need your complete shipping address so I can make shipping arrangements. I also need your telephone number so I can speak to you in person to be sure who am talking to.

I have an account with UPS and DHL and I have made shipping inquiries on how to ship the car to you in Germany and they said it will be possible to ship the car to you either through UPS or DHL to your address.

I prefer to accept payment via Bank Wire transfer. Let me know and also email me your full shipping address so I can start making shipping arrangements.

    Thanks,
    Desmond

I wont be able to bring the car over there without paying for shipping. I can only ship the car to you once you've made payment. I prefer to accept payment via Bank as its safe. Let me know.

    Hi Eddy,

I told you i was breaking my car for parts but you offered to buy the
complete car. I am willing to work with you so let me know your plans.
I will not ship without collecting payment first. And I will only
    accept payment via Bank Transfer.

Why I am selling it at a low price is because, i was looking to sell
my car for £15,000 English pounds before but never got any buyer. so
you should understand why i am selling it at a low price so i can get
    a buyer.

My wife is currently in the hospital and she is down with Cancer, i
have to use the payment for her treatment else she might die, I
already list my only daughter to sickle cell disease. I dont want to
loose my wife too. So if you are making this deal let me know or i can
    get another buyer here.

    Thanks,
    Desmond.

if you are longer buying my car please let me know.

sorry mate. there us nothing little suspect about paying via bank account. If you are not willing to make payment via Bank transfer then lets call the deal off. am no longer interested. Have a nice day and thanks for wasting my time.

Here are pics at the car.....

And he couldn't get £15,000 for it! There'd have been a queue around the block for a car like that. 'Kin wanker.

Ignoring all the other bullshit, do UPS or DHL actually ship vehicles? No one that I know would have a car shipped by them, even if they did, as it'd probably cost more than the car.

On ebay there are 23 auctions for 1956 Cadillac hubcaps and no bidders. There are 300 entries for 1956 chevy fenders and no one is bidding.
I know unemployment is about 9.1 percent but that means that 90 percent of Americans have jobs and there is what, 100,000 Hambers?

Is there a better place than ebay to sell your stuff?

Is this car " Deuce Roadsters" from Lowell, Ma. ??

  13. Funny how its listed as in the UK, yet theres an American car in the background and the house is obviously not an English one....and has now been pointed out, its owned by a HAMBer anyway!

    The Hamb Classifieds...

  15. No, it's HAMBer DeuceRoadster from NC's car

  16. The HAMB if it is traditional. I was unemployed when I got on the HAMB until '07. I managed to buy what I wanted when I wanted it from fellow HAMBers. I am unemployed now or retired depending on how you look at it. Money has been a little short as of late but if there was a part that I really wanted on the HAMB I would buy it somehow, I know that I am different but I don't think that I am that different.

As for scammers PT Barnum said that there was a sucker born every minute. From what I have been reading as of late our birth rate has risen exponentially since his time. So there may be more than one born a minute now and I think that the scammers know that.

We have a good outlet here and combined with the other venues that are associated with the Jalopy Journal we can reach a lot of people. I think that whenever someone gets hustled they should out whomever hustled them. It won't stop scammers from scamming but it will give us a slight edge that we wouldn't have had. If you are not sure of a deal with someone just do a search for their name on the HAMB, maybe someone else has outed them.
