Yeah...whatever. So I have some medium format film cameras that I like to shoot with and took them to TROG several years. This year I didn't take too many shots because the weather prevented me from taking the cameras out of the bag for most of the day I was there so 2018 shots are not here. Shots included here for your perusal. I shot the film over two different TROG events and then let the damn film just sit around my office for years without getting it developed. I had a lot of shit going on, alright??? Most of the shots shown here are favorites of mine (I didn't include all the shots) for various reasons like lighting, composition, how good the flag girl looks, etc. I tried to put them in chronological order (ie: one year and then the next). Some of the film degraded before I got it to the processor, but I think it adds to the overall feel of the shots. None of these shots have been digitally manipulated. Ain't nobody got time for dat!!! I'm old school and if the shot needs digital manipulation to make it look good then in my opinion I just didn't set it up right when I took it. I hope you enjoy them.--Andy We start off with a couple of Night of the Troglodytes, walking around drinking shots... Next up we have the grainy morning after shot (matched the condition of my brain at that point) Couple of shots off the race track that I liked I just love this car. The wood spoke wheels just knock me out. Special place in my heart for '33-'34 coupes of all types. I do prefer 5 windows even though this 3 winder is really nice. Let's go racing!!! Perfect shot of the flag girl and flag. I love the composition. The sense of speed, the foreground, the sky. Love it. +Check out the...SAND...yeah...the SAND... flying off the rear tire of that roadster. WHAT??? What about the flag girl you say??? Get yer minds outta the gutter boys. Just loved the flag girl in this one. ...And her hair in this shot is too good not to include it. Might be my favorite so far Badass Another badass Ultimate badass! Freaking geezers ruining my shot...damn! That's some serious flathead porn going on though. I just love the grain of this shot combined with the composition and the light coming off the water and the sand Coupla fans taking in the action. Again...the grain, the sky, the water, the sand. What's not to love about TROG? Oh yeah...they won't take my '31 sedan in even though it's fast as fuck. Haha! Hope you all enjoyed the shots. I'll try to be a little more timely in the future.
Great shots, Some of it looks like 2015, that was the first year I went and got hooked. already looking forward to 2019.
