Projects Best window to rubber sealant

Hey guy's. Just getting ready to put some of the new glass in my 46 and was wondering what the best type of window to rubber sealant builders are using these day's. I have used the standard smaller tube of Black RTV silicone for years but was checking in to see if something better has come along to take it's place in recent years.

 

I just used some high grade stuff by 3M from NAPA. Requires a caulking gun. Works great.

 

My glass guy used a butyl black rubber when he set the windshield in my '59 Ford.
