Best video ever: Chevrolet's "The American Look" (1958)

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Mike Zenor, Mar 26, 2013.

  1. For anybody who loves midcentury modern design, architecture and cars: a slobber-worthy survey of the latest 1958 product design, capped off with a peek inside GM's styling studio for the new '59 Impala.

  2. That's a long video,,but I plan on watching it later. HRP

  3. That was awesome!

The car was placed on the same GM turntable "Nads" Concept Caddy!

The narrator of that film was my dad, Marvin Miller. It's nice to hear his voice again (he died in 1985).

I started studying Industrial Design at Art Center the year after this was made, but never knew until recently that he had done this film.

Incredible, he must have had some tales.
