    My buddy just bought a 51 Buick Super88 with a straight 8, 3spd.
After driving for a week, the clutch went out.

He says he cannot find a clutch or any parts from any local parts house.

Wheres the best place to find clutch parts??

    Thanks

There is a pretty substantial Buick club, it's a national club with local chapters. Try looking for their web site and/or forum. I speak from experience, that my best source for cheap (sometimes "free to good home") Studebaker parts is from other club members on the Stude forum.

  5. Maybe some place like Ft. Wayne Clutch can rebuild your existing disc and pressure plate. Fewer worries about whether or not the new pieces will bolt up that way.

  6. Super 88 is Olds (and a few years later), a Buick is just a Super. They used the same small straight eight as the Special, so clutch stuff shouldn't be too bad to find.
