Just read all twenty pages and still no picks of the imfamous cary harts merc????????
I was curious so I googled it. It is in this link
Not even worth the time to post to photobucket to be honest. It wouldn't rate in the top 5000 Mercs in my mind.... the caddy bumper looks like an afterthought the rest is an abortion.
That' because this thread is about the BEST.
Not another Ho Hum Merc..
Some might not agree that this is the best, but I think this one deserves honorable mention:
you right on the not agreeing part anyway......
Should I have put A merc rear window and grill opening on it with desoto teeth? Oh maybe some musical note taillights
Anyways I like mercs but in my opinion which just an opinion Hudson's Are a better car or can be.
LTR Dave Hitch
I was waiting for someone to tell me it's an Olds
You know I dig your car, Dave...we were just having some fun 'cause this thread is downright ridiculous.
Looked alot better when it was purple!!!
I know and I mocking mercs with gay taillights
What a tough choice, but Bad Bob gets my vote. It isn't always about the whole package, but the attitude of the car and driver. The flamed one is my fave!! Well, this just in!! El Jeffe's cruzer is a tie for this title!! And sometimes it may be the one I am lookin at just then!! FickleFella--~Sololobo~
Since I am related to this guy, both of you are correct. My dad did indeed build Poison Ivy. He had that car for years until he finally sold it a few years back.
His new one (a '55) is shown here. He just finished it this past summer. He did have a 53 Ford and sold that too. Both the 51 and 53 were totally old skool and had flatties in them. His new one is a little more modern, kind of a new concept for dad.
Pretty cool seeing it posted here.
Seriously....Mine isn't shit compared to;
and about a thousand other amazing Mercs! Don't get me wrong,I appreciate the nod,but I also am realistic and know the difference between a "great" Merc and a driver. Mines just a driver and always will be. BEST is a very hard label to put on ANYTHING!!!!!!
wow man way to be an asshole. its people like you that discourage people from getting into customs. congrats
At least put a pic of it before it got wrecked--No comparison.
This has got to be my favorite. I believe SLDDNMATT built it. Mercury Charlies "Nadine" is close behind.
I think Mercury Charlie's Merc is the best '51 built since the Hirohata. Thanks for sharing that pic from the back angle.
Mecury Charlie's sweet Nadine!
Oz Welch's green "Bad Apple" 50 merc.............
just afew locale merc.s that i like the are all driffrent but i think the are all cool
Best Merc Sam's hands down
Re: Best Mercury ever built?
No such thing.
Otherwise that makes us a bunch of zombies
where as, in reality, we all have different tastes.
Mine is the best merc ever--1940 convertible, flathead with McCullough Supercharger, new standard motor, chopped 3" by Barris, unfortunately,
not finished, still looks good in the garage! dennismac
some peeps need to relax,
Do an intro then come back with some pictures.
Every man and his dog seems to have a Barris chopped Merc.
Mercury Charlies', hands down.
