man this was a crazy thread.....I cant imagine what it was like before Tuck cleaned it up.

I think overall opinions are just that.

Just what you like......that is why awards are just - Whatever - it is just one guys or one groups opinion of what they think is cool.

If you dont think its cool - that is fine.......

my dad now thinks that a white on white 94 corvette convertible is cool.

I told him it was not - but who am I? He looks at my '35 in pieces and just shakes his head

    just whatever you are into

Thanks for the link. The pictures are great, but that car is even more awesome in person.I got a chance to see the car and talk to Mercury Charlie at the Merc Gathering. He gave me a tour of Nadine and told me about the build and some of the details.Great car and a great guy.

Got the chance to meet Charlie at the Starbird show and had a blast talking to
him. I started picking out some of the changes and he would say ok what else?
I could tell it right away that he had a passion for Mercurys. When "Nadine" has
all of her doors and hood shut she would be hard to beat.

The other reason that I think "Nadine" is so kool, Gary Howard was also involved in
the build. We all know that raises the kool factor.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

  8. Wow thanks for the article link, that car is amazing.

  9. I think I like this metal flake version better. It just looks right with the body style.

  10. The Halloween Merc.

  11. My Parent's now have it. The lady in the green chair is my mother. This merc was orginaily built for her about 15 years ago and she was the one who chose the orginal cany purple/blue paint most of you know it by. My father Ken Erickson just repainted with a little help from my younger brothers. My parents are realy enjoing this merc as it has many years of good family times.

Too bad I didn't have a camera at the car show I went to yesterday. I saw a Merc that was chopped waaaaay too much, it had a tilt frt end, a crap load of subwoofers and 22" pimp my ride wheels.....yall would have loved it. :p

There are so many great Mercs out there. Both historical and contemporary built. I think the Matranga Merc and the Oz Welch built Merc "Slither" really stick out to me as great Mercs.

It doesn't say best traditional Merc although we're on the HAMB. Simply best Merc ever. This car has a shit load of work on it that most would overlook due to it's flashyness.

I agree - that Merc is sweeeet .. but best ever?

Love the rear roof / trunk mod, very cool.

EXK does some very nice, very low kustoms.
