I'm still trying to figure out what kind of coils I'm going to use with my Spalding flame thrower. I've narrowed it down to Mallory Flash Fires which are a molded coil or the old blue streak coil. I bought a blue streak a while back and like the design but it might look better on an older car. I'm trying to fix up something like it would have been circa 1962. What do you think?

For the high output coil in my sixties period '46 Studebaker I used a simple black pertronics flame thrower and the matching pertronics unit in my old YC Mallory. Looks very right for the era I am working with. I did not want modern molded coils and such.
