I bought a chrome windshield frame for my 3 window from Dick Spadaro and I am very happy with it.

 

I didn'y think anyone BUT Trautwein made those closed car V8 frames or open car ones either. They have been the benchmark for accuracy in fit and quality for at least 3-5 decades.

 

I bought a bare steel one from Speedway but I couldn't comment on the fit as my car was chopped. It took me 2 goes to get it to fit right but that was just me LOL

They don't sell them chromed but they come with all the hardware (hinges,pivots and screws) and the material they are made from appears correct and the sealing rubber fits good.
