Recently got this distributor. Not much info on the Berk distributors I can find besides being an early dual coil disturber. Anyone have more information about them? Like marketing material. I’m also looking for a recommended source to refurbish it.
I found an old ad for Berk dual ignitions. I believe these ignitions were distributed by Bob Berk, if memory serves me correctly, and he was also a dry lakes racer. The ad I found states that his ignitions were custom made for your application and could be ordered from - Berk Engineering Box 102 Temple City CA. $49.95 for ford flat head. The ad also points out that black and red ignition wires could be ordered along with black and red condenser tops if so desired. It looks like the fellow that ordered your ignition liked the red wire option.
