Can anyone tell me what this bell housing fits? It has a Ford transmission bolt pattern and is the type with a removable dust shield for the flywheel similar to a Chevrolet. Reed1944@aol.com

    1951 Mercury, a one-year-only bell. :) I've got one in my '32.

    I'd guess a 'Y' block.

Definitely a Mercury off of an 8-CM engine. I have one on my 50 with a T-5 tranny and adapter.
