Bel air 57-4 door, rebuild in Holland

    My name is Joe, i live in Holland europe, and im rebuilding a Chevy bel air 57, hoping to get alot of good advises.

    Extra floor ventilation

    Weld two new front floor pans in

    Weld two new rear floor pans in

    Weld new pieces trunk floor in
    [​IMG]
    Upper and lower arms cleaned, new paint, rubber bushings and lower baljoints::)

    Front rebuild
    [​IMG]

    [​IMG]
    cleaned up the dashboard, its ready for the paint.

    Looks like very nice workmanship so far. Curious to know, is this a car that was sold new in Holland, or is it a car that was imported from the US recently? Planning to make it red again? Looks like it was turquoise originally.

    The car was imported from the US, the new color will be bleu body and white top.

    good metal work, looking good, keep it up. had one back in "71, traded it for a motorcycle..... bad move, no brain no headache!!!!

    Looking good! Evidently a really nice, solid body to work with if that´s all You had to do in the way of metalwork. What kind of primer are You using?

    Looks nice, I know how hard it is do that kind of work when you are not in the US.

    Ziet er goed uit, ik kom uit het westland maar woon al jaren in de states.. Run hier m'n eigen hot-rod en restoratie bedrijf.

    Looking good! A set of chrome reverse wheels with pinner white walls would look nice and not be too expensive.

    Yes, website is http://www.hrclassiccars.com . maybe we should talk about export/import of cars/parts to Europe? with you as the agent?

    Dutch nationals buys here, we do the restoration/modification and ship to Rotterdam/Amsterdam with you as the local agent?

    Lookin good! The short lining shoe goes in the front tho not the rear like this is.
    It also looks to have the crossbar peice between the shoes missing etc.

    @low budget, the old drum breaks at the front are replaced for vented discbrakes, now i no what i did wrong :

    Home made 2,5 inch stainless steel dual exhaust is ready :)

    Bought a orginal steeringwheel for the Moose :)
