Please, by all means pass this information along to us with many photographs.
And not intending to add to your already hi anxiety level, but the pressure of having only 1 chance to cut and grind away on such a rare part of history to make it fit like it did originally, probably makes you wish you had taken up another hobby like neuro surgery or something, and bet even Mr. Fuller thought twice.

But don't worry Robert, this is not the entire global internet web, and nobody is watching either...... if this helps. ;)

    Can't wait to see this jewel sitting on the floor for the first time;

More tubing.... These are the last diagonals needed in the chassis. I just have the front seat uprights left and I'll tackle those tomorrow night. Just keep working, Just keep working...

    Cheers,

Awesome! Thanks again for these Bruce. Had a good chat with Rob Stirling yesterday and it looks like he'll be taking the honors for the TIN work. I'm not so ambitious about that part of the project.... More news soon!

Another quick update... I still need to mount the rear end in the chassis and was surfing around the web when I came across dwrfab's web-site. Mounting plates already cut and good to go for the rear-end uprights! Hot Damn! I'll take them! Here's the delivered goods.

Thanks again Don for such great parts!

And a shot of the plates trimmed to fit the chassis. The bolt layout and rear end brackets are basically identical to the original car. At least that's what my pictures tell me! ;-)

Yes indeed! Crush being over and the temp picking up a bit really helps. Dec/Jan was down right nuts here with those 30 degree mornings! The chassis should be out of the jig for final welding here in the next week or so. I've had some little side jobs that have been occupying time in the shop as well. Side jobs = $$$.

If you see the Chrome Pig downtown that was one of them!

    Cheers,

Trying like HELL, but there's been a minor snafu in the Body for the car. Long story on that part and there's a few things up in the air. That plus I'm busy as all get out at work since stepping up to the roll of Pres/CEO this January. I'm doing my best to balance it all and move things forward.

Big progress today Ladies and Gents...

Rear-End is all dialed in and the brackets are welded in. I've also managed to fit the seat tubes so that's all thats left as far as she sits in the JIG. I'll start removing the frame tomorrow so I can complete all the final welding. I'll fit the cage once it's down off the table and at a height I can see things a bit differently. Time for BEER...

    Cheers,

    RM

The car had been thru so many changes that the frame was used up. Rod Bradshaw decided it was best to toss it and move on with new pipe at the time. Luckily they un bolted all the parts before tossing the whole thing!

    Hey Gang,

Had a business meeting in the city yesterday AM that wrapped up around noon. I thought it might be worth a trip across the bay to see the S&S boys and check up on the Chizzler. Whamo! She's done! Super nice as always and ready for the final wash and the guts....
