hey Bob, great pics, I was there and I still missed a bunch of stuff....Paul's El Camino was bitchin, I gave it the Best Truck award, with second place goin to Tim's Edselero, which is also bitchin. I think this show was a huge success, I kept hearing people comparing it to the Primer Nationals, but it's really a revamp of Back to the Beach and I think it was better than any of the past Back to the Beach shows in Ventura, and it will probably just get better each year. Anyone who was close to make it to the show and didn't go...FAIL! See you next time! Thanks to Kevin for the dogs and chicken afterowrds too, always fun.

oh yeah, that gold squarebird is my wife's, but I dont have any pics of it either....anyone? Still needs interior and stuff...

  6. Yes, it was the best one yet. Great quality of cars each time. The "bike" guys that go to Bob's in Toluca Lake should go next year, and see what a motorcycle should look like. John's 2 shows attract some of the baddest, and most interesting bikes I've ever seen in one place

  7. i tink this guy and i have similiar taste in trucks.

Great coverage Bob! Somehow there were some cars in your photos I missed.

Why am I not surprised that many of my favorites belong to HAMB members.. maybe if I'd come around here more often.

Is the guy with the chopped El Camino on the HAMB? I am curious where he got the windshield cut down at...

I think you may be referring to my car...if so there are more photos in my album.

  20. Paul cuts his own roof, stainless, and glass!! He has posted on the HAMB a couple times a while back (KustomPaul I think).

That chopped El Camino is giving me wood, did he cut the windshield, had it made? What about the back glass, was it sunk? I love how all the trim is intact, door handles too, just a sneaky chop.
The chopping part would be easy but the glass and stainless would be tricky.
The 53 Chevy grille teeth and sombreros work, but you wouldn't think they would.

Thanks for the info, what about the back glass, is it just sunk into the parcel shelf?
My windshield needs replacing on my Elky anyway, that's all I need is to be chopping up my truck.

The back glass appeared to be sunk. I really liked the chopped Stude truck he brought down a few years ago.
