We came, we saw, it snowed, and we still had a blast. We'll be back next year. Already booked our hotel room. This pic was taken Saturday night at the Opera House.
And finally my car made it to it's first show. Yeah it needs alot of work but it was nice to drive it to a show, not just look at everybody else's rides.
Great that you could drive yer' car out Dutch. And not to worry we all gotta' start somewhere, continuous improvement... The Battle Born show was GREAT!!! The weather, in a word, horrible. After the show at the Opera House, walking back to my car, the asphalt was icy, slipped once going down the hill, got real careful after that. My car had 2" of snow on it, the windshield was iced up and I didn't have a room, so I had to drive home. Not a real fun drive, but I'll be back, and am looking forward to next years show! This here is my favorite car of the show.
Thanks to everyone that showed up! We had a pretty good turnout considering the weather. Theres talk of changing the date next year for multiple reasons. The first one is obviously for better weather and since theres a parade that Saturday every year we can't have cars on main street....so hopefully we can change that too. The Opera house was awesome, but I think we'll pass on Hancock next time!! You can keep an eye out here for info on next year. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001760121642&ref=ts
Yeah! WTF?? He fell off the wagon and fell HARD. Some of the folks we met had never seen him before and I told them how great he was. Then when he came out, it was like a train wreck. At least the other bands were great and the Opera House was amazing!
