    I've known George and Steve for nearly fifty years now....they always had mid-40's custom Fords. Great to see you guys with this project and will look forward to seeing you in LA.

    Some more updates from Steve....

    Words by Steve...

    The lay-out,measuring, cutting, and the splice of the ( 49 ) to the ( 41 ) steering shaft. This is the way we decided to get-r-done, sure would like to know how they did this in the ole days.?

    They look close... but I think the once on the Hot Rod use the Calvenar Chrome sides with smooth moon disks. They are thin on the edge then flow in nicely.

    The once on the Snooky Ford look to have a very heavy outer edge. You can better see it here. Perhaps its juts all in the reflection... but judging this photo its not.

  29. I was very happy to see it at the show even unfinished!I was curious what the front axle is,it looked wide.

    Its was a 46-48 axle a bit wider than the 41...they didnt have time to find the correct one before the show.
