im gonna be like that old man when im older...hoarders rule! and hey - on that ebay sold it local deal - if its something u dont want to lose - u have to do whatever it takes - ill lie through my f-ing teeth to score a car/truck/bike/part i want and i wont feel the slightest bit of guilt. i actually get high off doing that. my wife hates that part of me though.

Saw it on ebay, bids went over %$5k it said...which seemed odd...then "sold locally".

Good catch going there and making a deal.

Funny you just fell into finding one so complete it has that inner liftgate handle.
like the new guy said, believe it or not that is the toughest thing To find on 1949-52 Pont/Chevy wagons!
    Cool.!

I follow up on '49-'52s I see for sale that have been sitting for decades...and they are STILL missing that part!

Must've hit every new car owner on the head while loading, so folks removed them...? Who knows.

I have 2 and I am hesitant to put them on the cars!

HAVE FUN - these cars get more attention that most any other 1950s wagon you could be driving around.
