That is neat! I am glad that someone from the HAMB picked it up that will respect the history and not change it into a billet street rod with heated seats.

Perhaps just clean it up, leave the patina, and share it and its history with those that share a passion for such things.

By the way, those huge fron tires almost make the car look like some kind of hot wheels!

Love it! Great find! Good luck!!

This thing has to be one of the best finds ever. EVER.... It gives me goose bumps just looking at the pictures. It's as if someone left it in the garage, left, and never came back. It's so unbelievable to me because its in tact and looks like it would've been in perfect running order when left their.

Top on the list for coolest finds for me.

Does anyone recognise the chromed clear lense cowl lamps, are they old accessory lamps or an OEM part.

Super find. Some Rod snappers still around. One a H.A.M.B er , User name george tibball, knows a bunch of guys from the club, and their current whereabouts.
Could this be the same car?

Great score J! I'll throw my 2 cents at ya; You have a responsibility to preserve that piece of Hot Rod history for the next generation. If it was chromed, get it re-chromed. If it was pained, get it re-painted. I know some guys will insist that is changing it, but it's not really. It changed when the paint faded and the chrome rusted. Bring it back to life the way it used to be so that "little monster" will be around in another 50 years. And don't forget to drive the wheels off it!

OK, got the little monster running last night....
I stuck a stock single carb manifold on it....
    just poured gas down carb...
    Fired right up!
starter and starter solenoid work perfect.
I pulled light switch and all the lights work!
keep in mind this car has been sitting for 48 years...
I'm going to try and get the original electric fuel pump to work today.
maybe in as week or two it will be a driver?

I bought the car from one of his daughters Linda...
her sister is the one that put the car in the classic and hot rod....
I talked to her today and said her phone has not stopped ringing since it
hit the mag. rack! she found a bunch more stuff for me his racing helmet
and more pic's but still hasn't found the rod snappers jacket, they still have a lot of his stuff that hasn't been looked at yet.
    so the story continues.

  28. So, your keeping it for now?

it's no shit bob... I put a single carb. manifold on it put a 12v batt. in it with a 12v coil... hooked a starter button to the solenoid spun it over till I got oil press. hooked up coil and...nothing! so I pulled dist. cap and points where corroded I filed them then tried again and fired right up... I'm only pouring gas down the carb.so it doesnt run long but it sounds good.... it will pop your finger out of the spark plug hole when you spin it over!
I need to find a 6v fuel pump and I will be good to go after I re-build the 4 94's.

P.S was that you that left a message on my cell?
