Very neat. Hope you can restore it back to some sort of near period state. However, comma, if you put the muffler directly under the gas tank it will explode much sooner. This is really dumb ass engineering and I hope that correcting / deleting the muffler from this location is on the top of your to do list. Gary

Before you get all crazy on pulling it apart to get it running, painted and polished, do a bunch of research on the latest restoration techniques. These guys can make stuff look new as in not restored, but how it looked coming out of the factory or box. I'm talking about metal parts looking like they should, not just painted cast blast. Here is an example from a Mopar forum, but I'm sure the vette guys are doing this level too. This car deserves the best possible work you can do.

Wow. A Sharp intake on Edmunds heads and a whole stack of documented history. I guess THIS is why I find myself reading another "barn find" post. They never seem this cool.

From one lucky dog to another, great catch. Knowing where the car is is one thing, but there is no substitute for being in the right place at the right time.:D
Since I'm new here, why is this called a "barn find" when the car was sitting in plain sight for all of those years? Just asking.
Keep the pictures coming, that's what we all want to see.
