Friend of my brothers called him and asked about some old cars and parts,,so they went have a look see. Turns out to be 47 Lincoln Convert,,and a super rare 1942 Conti.( only 200 made ),,Couple v-12s,,Front ends like a dozen Lincoln transmissions Dashes etc,etc Guess the person who passed away was a Lincoln nut,,and looks like they now have alotta stuff to move
It's amazing what people rathole away thinking that someday they'll do something with it. The wife asks me all the time what I'm going to do with all the stuff I hae stored away...I tell her it's my life insurance policy!
so ya' gonna grab all that shit or what? that convertable got to be worth some coin, and those engines, wow! you know someone's got a boner for 'em.
I would love to be able have the money to buy and build a v12.... It would look killer in a fenderless coup just my .02
Yes they did make on it all..I'm told theres just speedos ,,radios etc etc parts in boxes and cabinets
""What a mess, What a shame..."" they look fairly well preserved to me. not seeing what's the shame about that.
I owned a 1941 Zephyr before moving to Tempe AZ but I have rebuild over the years a dozen of them and I am now rebuilding another V12 for a 1938 Zephyr one of my customer in Tucson AZ. Open car look kool with V12. Thanks Frenchy
yeah, me neither, i was actually thinking they were in pretty good got damn shape considering how long they been sittin'.

Wow --- I went over yesterday to a friend of mine to see how he was doing, He is a collector with about 20 cars and he just purchased the same Lincoln ( not convert ) in un restored cond. but in perfect shape and running ... small world
is there a diffference between a lincoln convert and a cabriolet My dad has a 42 cont. cabriolet and they only made 136 rare bird none the less and worth picking up for sure let me know if they want to part with any of it tk
The 42 I'm told is really good ,,the vert needs floor work but not tragic.( as well as what you can see ).few aluminum intakes and all ...I already called dibs on the front axle
I've got an uncle down in So Cal goes by the name of Mrerv Adkins. He's probably one of the largest collectors of Early Lincoln stuff on the West Coast. If you're looking for rare or hard to find parts PM me and I'll send you his cell number.
