My wife just handed me the best birthday card ever. This 1931 3-window was last driven in the summer of 1960.

  3. Excuse me while I go slap my wife...all I got for my last birthday was a new pair of work boots. Very nice piece of machinery.

I have seen a couple of restored Chevy's about that year. As much as I like the Fords and I'm a Ford guy, I really like the Chevys. They had prettier paint styles. First I've seen of one like that though. Shame to see it get cut up though.

Check out my avatar, its a 29 3 window chevy, it's what yours would look like if it had been sitting outside under a pile of leaves for countless years. I cannot express how much I envy you right now.

  13. I might be able to type something after i wipe the drool off.....

almost a shame to cut up.....

Surprised to see this back up. Thanks for the kind words. I am currently working on replacing the drvr door wood. Documenting the progress with photos with an eye towards making a "how to" post is harder than I thought. Plus making opposites for the pass door doubles the time. I post an update when I get it all written up.
