Hey guys, So I've got a banjo steering wheel from a 47 buick and a few of the 'strings' are snapped, I've looked for how to's on how to repair em but everyone seems to be talking about cracked wheels etc and not so much the actual string repair. Any pointers? Cheers!!!
do not try to super glue them, they will break. There is flex in a banjo wheel, just how it is when you start putting leverage to them. If the spokes are broken, they need to be welded. Find some one with a TIG welder and they will be able to weld them back together.
