Hi, I am new to the forum and building a traditional flat head belly tank lakester from scratch. I am not planning to go especially fast, it's more about the fun of it. I have a '37 banjo rear end and I will be connecting the UJ from the gearbox (6 spline female) directly to it in the traditional way via an ultra-short torque tube i.e. with no propshaft. My 37 Banjo rear end has 10 splines and also is the wrong ratio anyway. Speedway sell a 3.25 ratio 6 spline crown wheel and pinion kit that they say will fit any banjo from '35 to '48 which would sort out both problems. I just need to double check if people here think it would fit a previously-10-spline banjo in terms of the other internals ?

Yes, The 3.25 R&P from speedway will fit your '37 banjo.
