Is anyone familiar with this rear end?
11-40 indicates a 3.64 ratio which I have never seen before.
The drums look like late 40's type.
Maybe it is mis-stamped at factory?
    Candian? Lincoln?

I could be wrong, but I think that an 11-40 is for a V8-60 equipped '40 ford..........

    Dick Spadaro knows for sure.....

The V8-60 cars were geared really low, 4.44:1 ratio if I recall correctly.
