Thank you in advance for your help. This is my question what Intake would you suggest for a model a banger motor either single or duel down draft. My banger so far has a lion speed head and Mallory distributor. would a duel down draft setup be to much is my question or would a single run better on the street? What intakes would you suggest im used to running small chevy s and Y blocks.

  2. I run 1 94 down draft and it works great. The big thing you should think about is getting a manifold with heat in it. A lot of them mount against the exhaust manifold for heat. Makes a big difference on the smoothness. If you run headers you can weld on a plate to get some heat in the intake. But, 2 carbs look cool and racy!

I've seen one, two's and three's. I think it is all about the tuning. Mine is a 2-carb, but the 94's are tuned down - if that makes sense. Do some research on here and over on the Fordbarn. I'd also call H&H, they are very helpful and have the parts you'll need.

what I was thinking 2 94's is what i would like to run just tune them down some but i planed on making custom headers for the motor as well. tell me some more about getting heat from the exhaust manifold to the intake. where can i get a header flange as well so I don't have to spend a day on the Bridgeport making it (worlds slowest machine worker)
