I'm working on a speedster with a basically stock banger (except weber carb). I want some exhaust noise but less than straight pipe. I put a glasspack on it, but it totally snuffed out all the noise, almost to stock.

Any recommendations on muffler/baffle that will sound cool?

I run mine though headers and straight pipes, and it sounds good and doesn't bother anybody. Try it and see.--TV

If you ran the straight pipe like TV said, and found it to be too loud you could always cut in a few baffels to quiet it down.

Make up a Baffle, Get some drilled exhaust pipe from a speciality muffer shop and make up some rings to fit inside the exhaust pipe. A lenght of pipe 18" long and four rings works really well.
