Well, I was looking at an "A" project recently and I haven't seen one of these exhaust manifolds. I had an old accessory heater, but this is enclosed wth two ports approx. 3/8" in the top. It is all cast as one piece. Any ideas ? Thanks

I'm pretty sure those manifolds had a bolt on cover that surrounded the heat exchanging surface. The cover was then ducted into the firewall through a round hole.

  3. I have covers if you need them.

Aha, that makes sense! I had a heater like that once but it had a screen over the front and I never knew what was inside it. I didn't realize the exchanger part was part of the manifold.
    Thanks guys
