banger carb help?

    i want to run two carbs on my a banger motor, should i run 97"s or 81"s and what size jets ? motor is bored .125,super winfield head,1.75 valves,race cam,etc any ideas on carbs boys. thanks----rick

    Sounds like your banger is very similar to mine.I'm running 2 97's on a Thomas intake with 43 jets and 69 power valves. It runs a little ragged cold due to the long intake runners but once warmed up it runs great.

    I'm running a single 97 on my banger. I got some of the adjustable jets from Vintage Speed, they work great.

    I like 94's myself. Jet size depends on manifold, and the rest of the engine.

    81's ezier to set up . 97's are a lil big . tried 2 , went back to 1 ....... steve
