We don't need no stinkin' badges! (I had to say it) I received a old South Carolina hunting badge for my birthday many years ago and I stuck it in a frame and over the years I forgot about it until I ran up on a few more recently at a flee market. So,I guess I have embarked on another collection. HRP
Yes! I have three that were my Dad's from back in the 1930's, I'll add them to the list of misplaced things. Thanks HRP! Bob
At the bottom right in this picture is a Ford Highland Park assembly plant guard badge. Highland park was built in 1910 and was where the Model T assembly line was located. The plate & bowls were used in the Ford Rotunda cafeteria. The Thunderbird is a battery powered tin toy. Sorry for including the other stuff, but I didn't have a pic of the Badge alone. Mick
Maybe you can help me with this. I'm not sure what it is. Ash tray, badge,??? It's 5"×3 1/2". Notice the soldiers hand on the bottom. I found it years ago somewhere? Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
How about some ,"badges" you wear on your belt? Here are some of my belt buckles;both production and custom made. First is a picture of my Trans Am that was made and given to me by my son. Second is a gift from a friend who got it from a trooper. Next is a custom buckle made by my brother-in-law. Then a crow's skull cast in brass by another friend and made into a belt buckle. This is the centerpiece of my collection: A buckle designed by Salvador Dali for Pirelli that I bought at a flea market for $5. Saw a couple on e-Bay the other day for over $500. A resin cast dogs head buckle. Ad for Dynamit Nobel explosives. A scrimshawed eagle on paper Micarta attached to a buckle. Ad for Freightliner trucks. Ad for Kershaw knives. Ad for Mercedes Benz trucks. What looks like a Texas buckle is actually a Russian sailor's buckle. Belonged to a friend of mine's dad who was from Finland. A custom buckle advertising the 1 millionth Oldsmobile in 1977. Two custom buckles with scorpions embedded in them. Three custom silver buckles. Ad for Sturm Ruger firearms Ad for Thompson/Center firearms A Tony Lama boots buckle. A U.S.Navy buckle. Ad for a shooting meet.
Found this WW2 Iron Cross in my dad's stuff one day and asked him about it...said he was in North Africa during the war and was BSing with a German prisoner...swapped one of his medals for this Nazi Marine [brass so it wouldn't rust being close to salt water] naval Iron Cross... Dad gave it to me.
Found on an old house heater at the dump one day. Has a threaded mounting stud on the back with a nut
Here are some tags I found at a flea market many years ago. From what I can gather they were tags that were used by Boston area department stores for women to use their dressing rooms to try on clothes. The initials were a bit of a mystery until I found out what they were. One is the Jordan Marsh Co. and another is the R.H.Stearns Co. Still working on the others. Also a couple of tool crib tags from the highland Park Ford plant and the Fordson plant. And some commemorative tokens from the Century of Progress exhibition from Ford & Chrysler. Also some good luck charms from various places including one that was inside a can of Solder Seal radiator treatment. Hope these aren't too far off the mark;some of these I've had since I was a kid.
This is a mindblower for me. I'm wondering if it's the size of a license plate (or club plaque) or a smaller piece that was possibly on the base of a trophy. Either case, I want one.
Illinois 1932, with a low number. I had the 1933 badge with the same number but I gave it to a good friend that had a ‘33 5W Coupe.
Pin back from Nixon’s 1960 campaign. Originals are 3 1/2” diameter and have the union label seen in the lower right on them. They pop up on eBay but don’t pay big money for one unless it has the union label, no label brands it as a later knock-off. I’ve seen the knock-offs in 2” also.
I noticed the location of his hand. Did anyone notice the location of her hand? In the top picture. It's hard to see but it's on his ,the soldier, crotch. I had a coin similar to this , I gave it to my dentist, a while back . Mine had a couple that were dressed in tux with tails and top hat for him and she was in a long gown and flower hat. Front side she had her hand on his crotch and at the top edge of the coin it said "Heads" Back side he had his hand up her dress on her ass and it said "Tails" I assume it was a flipping coin. Yours being the size and shape that it is says its not a coin, but it appears to have the same message being given. Very cool piece. This frog I have sitting on my desk ,I realize its not a badge , but it seems to have a message of sorts.?.not sure if its a heads or tails or it just letting it gender to be known? Not sure what the story on this badge is. I found it in some stuff my brother had. Sent from my SM-T307U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I assume this is a radiator shell badge from a Model A. It appears to be probably an original one, on the back side it says Robbins Co. can't make out the rest. Sent from my SM-T307U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
