The opening scene of the original Phantasm with the 'Cuda roaring down the road! This is "THE" car that got me into loving cars!

Also, THE CAR from the movie THE CAR. I have A 1:18 scale replica of that one. I'll take a pic and post it tonight!

Relly surprised this one hasn't showed up yet.

Norm's Kookie car from 77 Sunset Strip, Think it made it into a few films as well.

While we are talking TV remember Ricky Nelsons hot rod from the TV series Ozzie and Harriet? Anyone know if that was a Norm built car, as he was a regular on the show.

Its been a while since I've seen it, but wasn't there a realy cool Topolino in Heart like a wheel?

That Sheen fella kicking the Flamed fender of the California Kid made me cringe.
And the Cop Car was pretty cool too...

And then there is the Elva Mk6 Elvis was racing in Viva Las Vegas...

Hahahaha! I was thinking of that van, but I didn't have a picture and couldn't remember it in enough detail to describe it. Thanks for posting it!

That would be Humungus from Road warrior, driving what the crew dubbed the "Cyclops" ( single LARGE headlamp , removed during filming), six wheels, spiked front fender ends, two prisoners strapped on front, medical size nitrous bottles, large semi style rear wing.... if you remember the end...it doesnt speak well for the bad guys welding and fabrication abilities... JK, it was sitting still and WIRED together.....

Elvira's thunderbird wasn't bad but the Twolane 55 is timeless.

I'll second that...I thought I was the only one who would comment on that car...the others are obvious, but I do love the Merc from Cobra...but I'm partial to Mercs...

By the way, this is a cool site:

Richard Pryor's Greased lightening had some bad ass cars in it.

Also Cinderella Man. Had a very sharp 34 coupe that had artillary wheels and what sounded like a cammed up flatty in it. Pretty good movie to boot...

Mostly TV, but lately a movie; The General Lee (all 10,000 of them)

Any trick Model T from a Keystone Cops short feature. They twisted, turned, flattened, narrowed, fell apart, and then sometimes came back together again! Many of them took huge flying leaps off cliffs, spewing parts everywhere as they bounced down the steep sides on their way to the ground.

And the Beverley Hillbillies truck. If I had a replica of that, I would drive it every day, even if the old lady would complain about bugs in her teeth.....

  26. I'm surprised there has been no mention of the AutoCar dump trucks used in Lethal Weapon 3. I've never seen a dumptruck handled with such finesse.

  27. I always liked Smiler Grogan's 57 Ford from It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, World.
