I like this one.
That car is my personal favorite-the part were the turbo kicks in is next to God
Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry
No, not the same car. Project X is a 2 door post, the Macon County car is a hardtop.
Well, several folks have mentioned it (including me), but no one has posted a picture. Here's one of the best movie cars on the cover of my favorite issue of Rod & Custom.
Off to work.
I agree and i have a 57 Chevy BBC 4 sp.
How about Professor Fate's "Hannibal 8" from The Great Race
Shit I didn't even notice... thanks for the heads up!
I agree with Larry, The California Kid car is the baddest.
baddest car hands down is CHRISTINE, when she was on fire and chasing that SHITTER down the road!
death to all shitters!.........
someone is making a metal toy car of the deathmobile. I just saw one at toyrus last night.
although O/T the lone wolf mcquaid blazer, or was it a bronco. Anywas. had the blower setup with a toggle switch. that rules. I would love to have a setup like that.
Blown ´57 in hollywood knights and the other is 'King Of The Road' purple blown? ´57 chevy, but hey I had on blown ´57 myself that´s why!
Great Deathrace2000 reference! Did you know that all the cars from that movie were "customized" by Dean Jeffries? Yes, the very same Dean Jeffries that built the Monkeemobile.
So many good ones in here that we've had already, including Biff Tannen's '46 Ford, the Family Truckster, the Bluesmobile, Christine, the DeLorean time machine. Crispin Glover, the guy who played George McFly bought a Studebaker radio delete plate from me on eBay, and he autographed a copy of the invoice for me. I thought that was pretty cool.
I also thought the reproduction (and a couple real) Tuckers from the movie were pretty sweet, I wouldn't mind having one of those. I think someone on the HAMB has one right now.
"How about Professor Fate's "Hannibal 8" from The Great Race "
The Leslie Special was also way way kool. Read a story about that car a long time ago. Hand built and powered by a Ford 300 six. If anyone's got a pic of that I'd like to have it.
3000 miles from Graceland. Complete unbiased opinion
I've seen better movies, but this is one Bad Ass Car...
How about the Monte Carlo in Boulevard Nights... Big VGV! haha
'73 Fury with a trunk full of white rabbits from Thunderbolt and Lightfoot!
Why don't we start a new thread, with a poll?
the pharaohs merc in american graffiti is my favorite. that poll is a good idea.
"Dragula"!! Hands down the baddest car to be shot for a show. Who else drives a front engine dragster on the street?! Of course the Munster Mobile is a close second, with that way out induction system..
It's the shaggin' wagon Harry.
how bout Vette Hopper drove in King of the mountan? but my pick will allways be Mad Maxs car.......
let's not forget about the classic 70's.
I'm with you.
I really liked that nasty old Corvette and Dennis Hopper was perfect casting. Saw it late one night but never could remember the movies title. Is it "King of the Mountain" or "King of the Hill". I have seen both on this thread. Rusty.
I vote for the Bullit Charger--not because it was that cool, but it had a hubcap dispenser on it somewhere.
TIME IS SPEED, SPEED IS TIME! God I love that line.
ive always wonderd what happend to the badest 55 of all time.
and if they really ran a train into it.
