The California Kid. It was (and still is) a bad-ass, street driven car.

A serious contender is the new Batmobile in "Batman Begins" (Roger Ebert: "A Hummer's wet dream").

I think my personal favorite is the '56 F-100 in the beginning of "Last Action Hero", sliding around a corner with a bunch of baddies standing up in the bed and shooting guns. Yaahooo!

    Or maybe the Bullitt Charger.

Or the unseen Ferrari in "Rendezvous". Makes your sphincter pucker, watching that.

What you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

Closely folled by AG/Bullitt/Mad Max/The Italian Job (the original one, not the lame ass one from last year)

    Bullit
    Blues Brothers
    Ronin
    Original Italian Job
    Thunder Road

The others may have had cool cars but the action was poor.

Not too "bad" but I like old trucks:) ...

The F-1 from Forrest Gump (Run Forrest....Run!)

The old Ford running shine at the beginning of Stroker Ace

My inner mullet is voting for the Bandit's car:D

All time best movie car scene? The car wash scene in Cool Hand Luke.

Well, my idea of cool (not BAD seabass) was the 32 *?* roadster bought by Andy Hardy for $15 dollars in the 1938 movie Love Finds Andy Hardy.

Now THAT was cool as all get out. :D

The meanest car? The Chevy from Sometimes They Come Back with the BBQ inside of it.:D ;)

The 56 Chevy is a bitchin raw kustom. Black roofless sedan with a Desoto grille. Mmmmmm.

1994 Robert Rodriguez film. Salma Hayek and David Arquette.

My ALL time favorite Hot Rod movie.

There was a pretty badass C-cab in Smokey and the Bandit. There's only one little shot of it but it's deffinately pretty high on the scale.

And for the record, Ronin has the best chase scenes ever filmed. They'd have been awesome to watch with rods but the cars they used were great. Nothing comes close to those chase scenes.

Can't believe some of you think the black Charger from Bullitt is badder than the black supercharged wheelstanding Charger from Fast and Furious. Anyway the baddest movie car has to be Mad Max's supercharged matt black big block Ford Falcon coupe. They made Jason Vs Freddy why not Christine Vs Mad Max!

The family truckster from vacation with chevy chase haha...seriously the first elinor from gone in 60, that was the longest car chase in movie history sumtin like 47 minutes, that kicks so much ass and talk about Ford tough! It was the same car for the whole movie. On another note I don't even like tri 5 chevs but come on the 2 lane 55 is just awesome. The willys from hot-rod smokes as well.....too many for me to pick a favorite.

Actually, he says..."It's Tony Nancy yellow!"...cuz that's really Tony Nancy in that movie shot....

As for movie cars...too many I love to try and pick one, so I'll just mention one that nobody has yet....Biff Tannen's '46 Ford convertible from Back to the Future....

How about the '32 roadster that Rick Nelson drove in an old episode of Ozzie and Harriett? Maybe not a movie, but a great hot rod.

ok it's not a bad ass car but the girls in it were. How can you go wrong with 2 hot redheads in a t-bird? Plus this movie made my wife want a 66 t-bird instead of a modern waste of money car
