Melba Toast from Dazed and Confused. I used to be a huge fan of '70 Chevelles and this one sounds badass. "I'm talkin' bout some muscle."

  4. Yeah, I couldn't agree more......AG pt.2 when those old slingshot rails do their tire smoking 1320 runs with the Wolfman howlin'......makes my nipples hard every time.:D

I just found this an had to post it. Here's a site that has the Bullitt chase scene and it's DOWNLOADABLE! Oh, this site is of some questionable and adult nature, so be careful where you open this link. I can't promised anything...

I'd have to vote for the Better Off Dead Camaro, also... love that movie. there is a site betteroffdeadcamaro.com where some guy found the original car and restored it, for those interested in that.

    Honorable Mentions:
    Christine
the Cobra in the beginning of Romancing the Stone
the Plymouth Stallone drives in Cobra
the 67 or 68 camaro in Tuff Turf
the old econoline van in The New Kids
the late 50's corvette in Less than Zero

The Interceptor from Mad Max gets my vote, fake blower and all. It is BADD.

Another one is the Slingshot Dragster John Millner drove in 'More American Graffiti'.

I think that TV Tommy Ivo's four engine dragster and one of Dean Jeffries customs were used in one of those Beach Movies.

  16. It may not be the "Baddest" movie car, but didn't Eddie Haskell on Leave It to Beaver have an old roadster? Does anyone have pictures? I've looked but cannot find one.

I really liked the Brown Ford LTD that Burt Reanolds drove in Gator and the one Jerry Lee drove as well.

I saw something on the net about a guy here in the States who built a perfect replica of the Interceptor based on an early '70's Torino which is basically what the Falcon XP is. He had a carb inside of a blower housing.

Toyota used a magnetic clutch on one of the supercharged MR-2 variants some time ago. It swithed on/off automatically based on load. Of course that little blower was probbably only pulling 10-15 HP from the engine. I think an 871 would be more of a challenge.
