Hot Rods Baddest coupe would go to......

The 15oz. COUPE is the definition of BAD!!!!

 

Looks like a really good car for a start, BUT to be BAD, as in a earlier post, YOU WILL HAVE TO STEP UP TO THIS!

 

I prefer the sleeper look. LS2/4L60e, 400 HP

 

It's based 1 1/2 hours from my place, has plenty of grunt and doesn't look like a cartoon. It's just business.

 

Man-those 36's are beautiful. Some of the best Styling ever.

 

tricky steve has a coupe that blows my mind...

 

This one (Tim Condors coupe) does it for me. Not sure if it ever got finished, but it looks like a hot rod to me. Apologies if OP only wanted to see 36 Coupes.

 

The red 36 3 window is a +500 horse rocket ship. 5" drop axle, 9" rear and a big stall in the auto if memory serves. A Warren Wilke build - check out issue number 4 of Australian Hot Rodder

 

would like to see full story on this one.....checked out Aus Hot Rodder site but $30 + $35 to ship is a little steep for me...looks like a great magazine , probably cant find here...

never was crazy about red on a 36, but this one is BAD-A$$.....nice to see a well done 36 in hot rod style...

 

Baddest, I think of this one. Okay it's not a coupe, but it is menacing and could inspire a 36 Ford build. Plus it makes this music video outstanding

Are you looking for the baddest coupe, or the baddest 1936 Ford coupe?

 

I vote for the Bass coupe. I think he is in Dallas and to me has all it takes to get the senses boiling.
The '35-'36 Ford coupes just don't have the first look that screams FAST. They do make real nice drivers though.

in general , Baddest would go to......maybe there should be a showdown ( instant tv show) maybe somebody here knows the right people to suggest this to (velocity tv, maybe)....need specifics like
28-34 or 28-36 or 28-40.....where does it stop

OR ....this could go down at the Meltdown , HAMB drags , Drag Week , who knows? ......this needs to happen somehow

Stogy, if you want to find literally dozens of HOT ROD mid thirties ford coupes, all you need to do is reset the co-ordinates on your time machine, and by-pass the current "traditional"...
First one that sprung to my mind...

35-6 5w coupes are cool cars ... But not the first thing I think of when I hear "bad ass"
