Assembly manuals are for people who don't know what they're doing......Maybe I could use one.

  14. If they have one, it was probably written in China:

Careful unwrap all part. Now first part take and second part take put together.

Now be easy since it might be the OPs first build and needs some help putting it togather, just think back to when you had your first major project if it was in pieces and you did not take it apart. Somebody with a 33 or 34 needs to guide this person on how to put it togather.

when Iinstalled the faux eng it hits the firewall . Is there a measurement for the motor mounts from the front of the frame? Or do I put it where it looks good? The car has an independent front.

And some of you AZ hambers are going to meet this guy, maybe someday, coming down a 2 lane blacktop toward you. If I lived close, I would want to know what color it would be painted, so I could BOLO. We need a federal regulation for a test before a person can buy a kit car.

I would put it where it looks good, after first sorting out how far forward you think it needs to go and then checking to see where the radiator will be etc for clarances.

Realize that motor placement can impact the weight distribution at the four wheels, the further forward the motor the more front heavy it will be. Here is a quick explanation about weight distribution, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automobile_handling

If you don't plan on road course type of running of the car, you just need to be aware of the difference in weight by placement.

Do you already have the driveshaft? If so and you don't want to buy another one, that comes into play.

    Good luck!

By the way, if you are not a certified welder, I would suggest getting someone that is to do your final welds.

  28. Does the instruction manual include how to do that "fauxtina" paint thing?
