    I think "joint" is the word you wanted, but everybody would know what you mean when you say "joins". How old is your son, it is great that you have him helping you. I have 3 kids but only 1 of them was ever interested in working on old cars.

    Crackes123, my son is 13 years old. I try to keep his interest up.
    My two daughters are not intresting old cars and motorcycles :rolleyes:

    Yesterday i sandblasting a frame.

    Looks like still cold weather for sandblasting and painting! :)

    My daughter a few years ago, learning to weld. She likes to help me work on cars, it is not her hobby but she is always willing try.

    My son is a little bit older than her, he has no interest in cars. Only interested in Call Of Duty - Black Ops. :confused:

    And a daughter that is younger, she says "Dad you are NOT turning me into a grease monkey!" :p

    Now its time to take little brake and i going to Italy with my daughter. We have couple days city vacation. I hope there is warm :)

    One man put body on frame. I haven't friends :D

    Body is little bit too high in this picture. Rear wheels take contact in body, need little spacers.

    I put spacers in place and now rear wheels can rolling.

    I made gas tank paper draft.

    and then i made it from steel.

    Hi again, i didn't forget this project :eek:
    In Finland we have summer, it's very short and i try to enjoy it with my harley.

    But project go forward. Body is sandblasted and painted some primer. Now its back on frame.

    I got a new wiring box.

    How about investing a few hundred on matching pair of Lokar shifter and emergency brake?
    The floor looks good.
