Backfire Help

Not trying to be a smart ass, but check my post dated 12/7 where I told you there was an exhaust leak in front of the mufflers. Glad you found it.

 

Lol, I knew that was coming.

I didn't guess. Read my 12/7 post again. I told you what it was. You ought to be greatful so many people tried to help you.

Hell I am glad you can burn a tire again.

 

So if your exhaust has a leak and backfires would that damage anything engine wise?

That's when they sound good

I think the term "backfire" is incorrect for what's going on. My Vette does the same thing when I downshift. Big cam, too rich, & old exhaust system.

Does this count as backfire, or is it just bad-ass?
