Event Coverage Back to the 50’s 2021, Who’s Going?

BTT50’s, it was on , then off , now back on. Who is going?
As of now , the family and I are planning on going up with @RHRH3P.
I’ll most likely be driving my ‘49 Ford.

I’ll be there with my 56...

 

I'll be there on the foot mobile. When they canceled BTT50's I blew apart my 49 Buick to paint it. Then they said it was back on, so now I have no car to drive.

 

I will be there also, with my 39

 

I and my high school best friend plan to be there. Neither of us plans to live our lives scared, and want to live a proper existance.

 

I bought a cool little teardrop camper 2 years ago, and thought this year I would be one of the bigshots camping on site. Never miss it, but usually only go for the swap meet. However, I broke my frickin leg...so I will be pouting at home. Wish you all the best deals...the tallest tales...the prettiest girls to watch...but me, I'll be home. I'll have extra beer in you're honer.

 

Hopefully there are more Hambers going.

I will be there all weekend. Never miss it as it is the best show around! Been going since 79

 

I plan on being there with my nitro powered street coupe.

 

Confirmed with the Mrs, that we are heading up Thursday morning sometime. We don’t have a long drive, but if we leave early enough I don’t have a reason to stretch the speed limit. The shoebox likes to speed.

 

I'll be there! I'll probably bring the Hemicoupe, but not sure yet. Maybe the Cord L29.

 

What time do you have to get in line to get a good spot? What is the best entry gate for an early entrance?

 

I’ve only been once, so I don’t have a good answer. I’m not sure I found a bad place to park.

 

Oh sure, blame it on the car ...

 

Gates open at 6 am usually,so 4-5 am or earlier. Volunteer you get in early without waiting in line.

 

I won't be there this year.

 

I think only 1 or 2 gates are open before 8am

 

There is plenty of space, and nice spots on the whole grounds. Unless you want to power park so the magazine photographers can get a good angle on your car, don't get up before the sun rises.

The cars are ready. Mother Nature is ready too as Fri and Sat will be 80° and sunny. Going to registration pickup tomorrow.

 

The guy down the street bought a Pontiac so he can have the Back To The 50's experience, too. He's going to try and sell the car while there.

We made it.

 

Brian I made it in this morning. We are parked at the Southwest corner of the space Needle. Looks like perfect weather, thousands of awesome cars. We already made a new friend who is a hamb member, and more importantly a Hemi owner, Gassewillys.
