  1. I'm getting ready to install my 1955 270 hemi in my 1931 ford coupe.. my question is how much is an except able amount of motor tilt back.. I have it at about 5 degrees tilted back any more level than that the transmission begins to not be level.. I hope this makes sense.. I'm really looking for help on this guys

    Not being either a Hemi or a Model A guy I cannot help with your question.

    I would level the carb mounting flange on the in the intake. This requires that the is set close to ride height.

    I would try to set the rear suspension position versus the frame. You can then set the driveshaft angles. The engine tilt is controlled by getting the driveshaft angles right.
