  3. Who's going to Speedworld on the 23rd?

  4. Assuming I can get my new wiring harness installed and get my new engine fired up, I might run up there in my car. I won't be making any runs but I can keep a seat in the stands warm.

Now that Mark, the Sponsors & I have done all the promoting and advertising we could do for this thing it looks like were going to have another good turn out. I've got a week to get the 49 race ready, my son is running the car again and is telling everyone he's going to put them all out :D "AND I THINK HE WILL TOO" - Hope to see a lot of HAMBER's - Drag Racing - Free Car Show and good Friends - It Doesn't Get Any Better - See ya at the Track - Spike

can you guys post what the rule enforcement will be like. If you are in a roadster are they going to require a jacket and arm restraints? For example....My Model A has no side glass and the roof is not filled.

I realize you cant get into every situation.....but at least a heads up on items I need to buy like a helmet.

also.....is it only 1/8 mile for amateurs like me?

I would like to make a couple of test runs to see how the car moves out, but Iam not ready to whack the trans brake yet.

As far as I know, the open cars are restricted to 1/8 mile. Seat belt and helmet are the main requirements. All the lug nuts in place, radiator catch can, etc.

  18. Jerry is correct on the basics, but your sedan may pass 1/4 mile tech for 11.50 or slower.
    See you there.

  19. Is this the old Jomax Rd strip?

  20. It is old alright, but it's all re-done. Between Jomax and Happy Valley Road, near Grand Ave

That's plenty.....I wont be pushing it that hard.

  22. Used to go out there in the early 90's, they used to have the "All Harley" drags a couple of times a year. My daughters "ex" and his friends used to race out there a lot. If I was still living in AZ i'd be there, for sure! Good luck
