Technical Axle widths

Got one out of a crown Vic. Little wider than I would like that’s why Iam looking for other options. Or I can just have this rear end narrowed because it have the disc brakes

What body style are you building? Coupes and roadster will take a narrower rearend when channeled than a sedan. Also the wheel you are planning to use appears to be one of the wheel vintique wire wheels.

thats gonna look goofy. Traditional street driven hotrods didnt do that

 

I've got a 9" Ford that is 65.5", I believe it's a '70-'75 F150. Those should be easy to find.

 

I measured mine. It’s 60 inches.

I used a crown vic 65" wms to wms 5X4.5 bolt pattern.

 

Axle width for Ford rear ends

 

That’s what I have. Mine measured 69” wms to wms. 98 crown Vic with disc brakes. Unless or years or different?
