Hey, I'm not at home to measure for myself, but stand to score some brake parts. Does anyone know the axle offset on a '59 Ford 9 inch? Axle offset being the measurement from the housing end to the axle flange face.
    Thanks

Big bearing or small bearing? Small bearing is 2 1/4", I will have to look for a big bearing axle.

Sorry, big bearing. After more research, and not being able to measure mine right now, I'm thinking it is a 2" which is an oddball that nobody supports.

I searched and search for loaded drums to fit my '57 9" without much luck. There are a few brake options out there, but I was planning to narrow my housing and center the pumpkin at the same time, so i just went back with big ford ends at the same time.

  5. All of them I have done are 1 3/4.
