:confused:When installing a 59A flathead in a 28/29 Ford roadster or RPU will the stock fan and generator assembly clear the radiator or will I need to modify it or fab something new all together?
    thanks everyone

  2. it will not fit. Use a single belt pulley and a early generator with the fan mounted on it.

  4. There are sources that sell a pulley to adapt a fan to your generator. Some pulleys are wide or narrow belt.Speedway my have something.

  7. I used a 39 generator and fan, I had a guy turn the outer/forward pulley ring off the lower. Nothing else involved aside from a little trim on the fan blades. You DO NOT need to trim the firewall or move the rad.
