My question is, can I use a stock height '32 radiator on my '30 coupe AV8 project. I think they are the same height. But I am not positive. I want to run a deuce shell, because I have a really nice filled original. Any help would be appreciated.

I think if you are running a hood it might slope up a little toward the grill. You might need to lower the grill an inch or two making it hard to run a stock height 32 radiator. I tried it on this AV8 im doing, and wound up using a chopped 32 radiator.

Thats what I was afraid of. I don't want it to slope up with a hood on it.

Mine is a 4" chop, but I think you can get away with a 2".

  6. Walker sells 2" and 3" chopped 32 radiators. They will not make one shorter than that.

My shell is trimmed 2.75" or so at the sides. My cowl is also mini-channeled about 1" at the firewall. Mustang rad trimmed with '32 bracketry and top tank. No hood yet, but it looks like it should line up pretty well. I may actually have to raise the rad about .5".

  9. Why not use a 30-31 radiator? I used a 28-29 on my 29 Highboy, just right....

You can use a model A radiatior with dual inlet/oulets and coverted to cross flow..........Any radiator shop can do it.

    Hello!
I am using a stock -32 V8 radiator with a -31 shell on my -31 A V8 and it fits right on, but the hood will be about a 1/2" too short.
