My question is, can I use a stock height '32 radiator on my '30 coupe AV8 project. I think they are the same height. But I am not positive. I want to run a deuce shell, because I have a really nice filled original. Any help would be appreciated.
I think if you are running a hood it might slope up a little toward the grill. You might need to lower the grill an inch or two making it hard to run a stock height 32 radiator. I tried it on this AV8 im doing, and wound up using a chopped 32 radiator. Rob
My shell is trimmed 2.75" or so at the sides. My cowl is also mini-channeled about 1" at the firewall. Mustang rad trimmed with '32 bracketry and top tank. No hood yet, but it looks like it should line up pretty well. I may actually have to raise the rad about .5".
You can use a model A radiatior with dual inlet/oulets and coverted to cross flow..........Any radiator shop can do it.
Hello! I am using a stock -32 V8 radiator with a -31 shell on my -31 A V8 and it fits right on, but the hood will be about a 1/2" too short.
