Technical Av8 build intake and crank pulley question

    You can put an early timing cover and distributor on your engine, that would give you a little more room. I am in west bend and have a couple 37 flatheads in the shop to compare if you want. Send me a conversation and we can get together if needed. Gary
     
  2. My early motor is 27.5" from where the Trans bolts on to the pump pulley grove. The adapter you need on your late block to 39 trans is 3.25" wide. That's 24.25" so go check from back of your block to pump belt grove and see what you have.

    Thanks. I actually have one in my shop under a bench. Was just looking at that and some dimensions on that old thing
