autolite carb ?

    i have a 1 bbl autolite from a falcon(I THINK ITS A MODEL 101?) ive been trying on a hopped up model a engine but it seems a little on the rich side. loads up the plugs, idles rough. can anyone tell me if different jets /power valves are available for this thing? i havent opened it up to see if they are same as holley. thanks

    It's probably an 1100 Autolite. The jets are , I believe, the same as the two barrel 2100's use. The power valve on these little one barrels are not removable, not without ruining them.
    To see if the jet is too big, without a selection of jets to change, insert a fine wire in the jet, and wrap it around so it stays there. You can solder the jet closed and drill it to a smaller orifice, too.
