a friend is currently living in PA and thought about taking some "shop" classes, she´s really into cars, and she needs a good course, not some insurance collission repair class, where they only learn to bolt on new panels and throw some bondo on.something more old school, preferably combined body and engine classes.or any shop that wouldn´t mind a girl hangin´round the shop asking q´s and stand in your way.
Don't go to any of these big schools(Wyotech,UTI etc.)Because after your 9mo. of training, you come out into the real world and find out you just wasted 20k.Find a decent shop and get in as an apprentice, spend your money on tools.Plus all you have is a certificate when you get out of these schools, not a degree.
what part of PA is she in? i know there were some evening classes here locally in harrisburg that didnt look too bad Zach
Here's where I went 40 years ago. It was in a different location then. http://www.autotraining.com/ Exton, Pa , Philly suburbs, right over the bridge from you.
