That's awesome! To finally be able to see some of these cars in action, instead of just photos. I used to work for the guy that ran the wheelstander "Paddy Wagon", so cool to see it pleasing the crowd. And to see the CKC fastback in action... rad.
Wow, real funny cars made from real cars that look like real cars. I was just thinking that even though I had raced there in 1969 I had never seen the track in the daylight before.
I worked within a stone's throw of the old site for years. Never knew it was there, but remember the tower. You couldn't even see through the brush at the time. The asphalt was all broken up and grown over. After sharing some pics on another thread a fellow contacted me and told me about the old road course that ran there also. You can still see part of that path in aerial photos, but construction has invaded much of the site. It just blows my mind. Thanks for sharing.
