I met the new owner - Mark Wyant - at his private airport hanger - where he took delivery. A former commercial airline pilot - he now is a Hotelier who owns several upscale properties. I am in the middle of my longest single vehicle transport to date. A total of 5700 miles starting in Phoenix, Arizona and ending in Naples, Florida. Thanks to volatile #2 diesel prices I have re-structured my rate schedule. I now charge a set base rate for vehicle slot size and add fuel cost per mile based on the region of the country I am driving thru. I carry 130 gallons of #2 diesel so that helps out a bit. Jim

I have met a lot of folks and formed lasting friendships that come into play sometimes to find a new Caretaker for a vehicle. In February I took some videos of my friend Herb’s 1916 Telescoping Apartment which is mounted on a running and driving 1922 Model T Chassis. It took Herb two years to build this. It is the only running & driving example known to exist in this country. The little gas Shriners Tribute Car was also sold and made the trip. Then I went to work finding a new home for it - which turned out to be The Volo Museum north of Chicago, Illinois. Part of what I do to turn the wheel and give back - no charge involved on my end. So this past Sunday was spent visiting with Co Founder Greg Grams getting a behind the scenes tour and unrestricted access to the 65 acre property to take several videos of the 33 plus exhibits. And I made another friend along with adding another museum to visit when I am back in the area. Jim
