Ryan graciously agreed to allow me to put up an auction for the benefit of Josh Dreiling's funeral costs. As many of you already know, Josh was the son of our very own RATSTER. He recently passed unexpectedly and Ratster is in need of some fundage for the funeral costs. I wanted to help my friend Ratster out and Ryan gave me the go ahead and here we are.

Up for auction is one TINGLER painting.

    Title: "Wolf for Josh"

    8"x10" acrylic on canvas board.

Signed and dated both on the front and back.

Bidding will end one week from today: Monday Nov. 26th, 2007.

All procedes to be sent directly to Ratster. I'll PM the winner Ratster's home address and phone #.

PS. THis photo sucks. I'll be putting up a better photo as the week wears on. I'm limited to "outdoor lighting" for my pics and its raining and crappy here today.

    Thanks.

  21. Hey guys,

I just returned from the funeral. It was as sad as you could imagine. I feel so sorry for Rich, all the aunts, uncles, cousins, but especially for Josh's kids.

There was a box there for anyone wanting to help offset the costs. I spoke to the guy helping organize all that & he said they hadn't collected half of what they needed yet - & this funeral was done on a tight budget. A PayPal account has been set up for anyone wanting to make a donation to help. For those who want to help but can't top Doc's generous bid, a donation can be sent to: rabbit@detroithorsepower.com. I know that this is a tough time of year for a lot of people's finances but anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your bid Doc & thanks to all who have donated. I know Rich & the family appreciate it.

After reading Harrison's post, I'd like to amend my bid if it is alright with everyone. I'm gonna just send out the 500.00 right now (paypal acct), and I'd like to see if the bidding could continue with the last bid before mine. That way, we could raise a little more money, and I could get something out right away to help with the expenses. I hope this is acceptable.

    O.K. Doc.

Doc has made a $500 donation and retracted his bid.

The high bid at this point is now Marcy at $175.

    Bidding will resume at $175

    Thanks Doc, you truely rule.
